North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong
The University has two health centres in Shillong; one located in Bijni Complex and the other on the Campus, Umshing. The health centres provide free medical care and medicines to the teaching and administrative staff as well as to the students of the University.

In supercession to the notification issued vide even number 3232 dated 2nd March, 2009, teh working hours/timings of the Health Centre located at Bijni Campus will be as follows:-
1. Working days - 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
2. Holidays - 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
The above arrangements will be in force with effect from 1st July, 2009.
