Saramati Halls of Residence
The Saramati peak in Nagaland is the highest one of that state. It is high enough to remain snow-capped in winter. This great geographical landmark has lent its name to the oldest hostel of the University after a student expedition went to the peak under the guidance of Prof. B. S. Mipun the then warden of the hostel. Built in the charming old design of stone and mortar, this Hostel is in two blocks, A and B. It offers single-seater accommodation to Male Post-graduate students with an intake capacity of 46 students.
Admission to this hostel is done through the Office of the Dean of Students’ Welfare every year after admission to various streams of Post Graduate courses of the University.
